Electrical and electronic equipment
Since January 2007, electrical and electronic equipment can no longer be
disposed of with your usual waste or recyclables, and must be segregated.
Wyndham Recycling can help you meet your obligations, providing containers for
the storage of WEEE, before transportation to an approved authorised transfer
facility for recovery.
What qualifies as WEE
WEEE can include non-hazardous equipment (such as toasters, coffee machines and
videos), IT equipment (including CPUs, laptops and mainframes), as well as
equipment containing hazardous substances. Included within this are fluorescent
lamps, batteries and equipment with ozone depleting substances (such as air
conditioning appliances and freezers).
